Mary Kinlaw

Director of Surgeon Relations

Mary is an accomplished Director of Surgeon Relations with a wealth of experience in the field of eye banking. Her role as the primary lead of the business development team involves overseeing strategic initiatives that focus on surgeon development, acquisition, and retention. Her expertise in the industry allows her to cultivate strong relationships with surgeons.

Mary works closely with the Regulatory Affairs department to ensure compliance with industry regulations, and she provides assistance to ambulatory surgery centers, surgeons, and support staff to help them navigate complex reimbursement-related challenges associated with corneal transplants. She has two decades of experience in the eye banking industry, with 12 of those years dedicated to tissue banking. She holds the certification of Certified Eye Bank Technician (CEBT) and has served on several Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) committees. Currently, she is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Surgery Society (ASOA) and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives (AAOE). Additionally, Mary is an organizational partner of Miracles In Sight and represents the organization at Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS) meetings and events.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, practicing yoga, traveling, and reading.
