The North Carolina Eye Bank & Carolina Donor Services World-Class Partnership, 7/23/2009
 In 2008, The North Carolina Eye Bank was named the number one eye bank in the world by the Eye Bank Association of America. Accordingly, we would like to say thank you to our partners who played a large part in this achievement. Our Executive Director, Dean Vavra, recently presented a plaque to Lloyd Jordan, CEO of Carolina Donor Services (CDS), at their home office in Greenville, North Carolina. Dean Vavra and Bob Russ thanked CDS for their key role in our daily endeavor to provide tissue for sight, pursue the continuing quest to find cures for eye disease, and finally... pay it forward by providing a better quality of life to those in need. Thank you CDS for your partnership, with one voice we are changing lives through the miracle of corneal transplantation. |
