For Surgeons

Standards and Practices

As health care professionals, surgeons play a pivotal role in the eye donation process. Patients with a wide variety of eye diseases and visual problems rely on their expertise for proper diagnosis, treatment and care. When corneal grafts are the prescribed therapy, surgical skill and high quality donor tissue offer patients hope and new beginnings.

The North Carolina Eye Bank works with 40+ surgeons in North Carolina and with others throughout the world to ensure that patients have the highest quality donor tissue, on-time.

We welcome opportunities to work with ophthalmologists to improve patient care, develop new therapies and serve the medical community in innovative ways.
