Becoming an eye and organ donor can be one of the most important decisions you will make in your life, and we at The North Carolina Eye Bank sincerely hope that you will choose to become an eye donor. Your decision to become a donor can mean sight for someone struggling with vision impairing eye diseases.
If you would like to sign up to become a donor, it only takes 5 minutes of your time to click on the Donate Life link below and follow the instructions for becoming a donor.
Sign up by one of these methods:
1. Sign up at the Department of Motor Vehicles and put the heart on your license
2. Go to http://www.donatelifenc.org and sign up to be a donor
3. Indicate your wishes in advance directives at www.nclifelinks.org
Most importantly share your wish to donate with your family!
SHARE YOUR DECISION ON FACEBOOK
Facebook now has a new option that lets users share their commitment to organ and tissue donation.
To designate yourself as a donor on Facebook:
Your organ donor status will appear both on your Timeline and in your "About" section.
This does not legally identify you as an organ and tissue donor. North and South Carolinians still need to register as a donor on their driver's license, state ID card, or online.
